While Firewatch ran into some minor technical issues at launch, it seems that wasn’t enough to stop people from buying the game as developer Campo Santo has announced that Firewatch has been a resounding success.
This was mentioned by the developer over on Twitter where Campo Santo said it sold beyond their “wildest expectations.”
Firewatch has out-sold our wildest expectations. Campo Santo is going to be around for a while and we can’t wait to make whatever is next.

If you’re wondering if that “next” meant a Firewatch sequel, the answer is a resounding no, as Camp Santo has confirmed that Firewatch’s story is done so people shouldn’t expect a sequel of any kind.
