On Friday, March 18, Paragon will enter early access on PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe, letting you play an in-development version of the MOBA by purchasing a $19.99 Founder’s Pack from the PlayStation Store, in addition to the free 3.5GB Paragon game file.
Here’s what’s included inside the Founder’s Pack:
- Instant Early Access to Paragon, starting on March 18, 2016.
- Master Challenge For 3 Heroes: Sparrow, Steel, Howitzer. Master Challenges include an immediate Challenger skin for each hero and permanent Hero Level XP boost. Completing a Master Challenge unlocks a taunt and the exclusive Master Skin.
- A 3-game Rep boost
You can also upgrade the Founder’s Pack to the $59.99 Challenger Pack or $99.99 Master Pack.
Creative Director Steve Superville said, “Now with the beginning of Early Access we’re taking the next step in opening up the game to more people. Players who want to get a head start in playing with a small, enthusiastic community and help shape the evolution of the game can join us by buying a Founder’s Pack.”
Developer Epic Games also announced that they’ve partnered with Sony on Paragon: Essentials Edition, which hits retail stores on June 7 in North America. Priced at $59.99 on Amazon, it includes Hero Master Challenges, skins, boosts, $60 worth of in-game currency, and more “at a huge discount as our way of saying thanks for getting in early and supporting Paragon.”
If you don’t want to spend any money on Paragon, the free open beta begins this summer. As previously announced, all Heroes are free and cards are earned through regular gameplay.
Will you be playing Paragon this week?
