PlayStation Video Expands to Android Devices Today

Sony has rolled out the Android app for PlayStation Video, allowing users to browse, purchase and stream purchased video content across compatible mobiles and tablets.

In tandem with the announcement, the publisher notes that The Hateful Eight, Concussion, and Ericson Core’s Point Break remake will be available to purchase or rent later today.

First hatched back in 2010, PlayStation Video is currently competing against the other prominent players in the field — namely Google Play, Amazon Prime, and Apple’s iTunes.

It’s available to download across the States, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Japan and the UK.
