Square Enix confirmed during the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event, that the leaked launch date we wrote about yesterday was indeed correct, with the game scheduled to release worldwide on September 30, 2016.
Three editions of Final Fantasy XV will be made available: the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition, and the Ultimate Collector’s Edition.
The Standard Edition ($59.99) will include the game, a “Day 1 Bonus,” and the in-game weapon Masamune.
The Deluxe Edition ($89.99) will be bundled with: the game, the Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV Blu-Ray, as well as a steelbook. DLC bonuses include the Masamune weapon, Royal Raiment outfit, and Platinum Leviathan recolor.
The Ultimate Collector’s Edition ($269.99), of which there will be only 30,000 units made, will contain: the game, the Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV Blu-Ray, the Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV Blu-Ray, the Special Soundtrack Blu-Ray, a Play Arts -KAI- Noctis Ultimate Collector Edition figurine, and an exclusive Brotherhood & Kingsglaive steelbook. All DLC bonuses from the other editions will be included, as well as a unique Travel Pack, Camera Kit, Angler Set, and Gourmand Set.
Pre-order bonuses will be announced at a later date.
