While Square Enix has settled on an internal target, the publisher has conceded that the total number of episodes included in the multi-part release of Final Fantasy VII Remake is subject to change.
After comparing the scale of each chapter to that of Final Fantasy XIII‘s trilogy, Producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed to Game Informer that the development team is remaining flexible for the time being before announcing a set amount.
That comes down to “creating and developing the scenario and the stores,” according to Kitase, who noted that development logistics mean that “these are things that move in real time.”
Yeah, we do have an idea on the project side in terms of how many installments it may consist of, but unfortunately, we can’t share that at the moment. Of course, as we’re creating and developing the scenario and the stories, these are things that move in real time. So, the plan may change along the way. But, that said, we do have a vision for how many installments it will consist of.
What do our readers think about Final Fantasy VII Remake‘s staggered release? How many episodes would you consider appropriate?
