Remember Outlast and how scary it was? Well, horror fans are in for a treat since it looks like Outlast 2 will continue that sense of panic!
In the Outlast 2 gameplay video above, we get to see some of the new settings promised by Red Barrels. Outlast 2 isn’t going to take place in any old asylum, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less scary. We see our new protagonist running and hiding from an unknown enemy (enemies?) and while it looks like we still can’t fight our way out, the new hiding places do look a lot more imaginative.
Another thing that’s noticeable is how good the game looks compared to the first game. Granted, being honest here, I watched maybe half of what’s shown in the video, as I didn’t want any part of the game spoiled for me, so there’s a chance I missed a detail or two along the way. Regardless though, if you’re a horror fan, you will want to play Outlast 2.
Outlast 2 is scheduled to drop in fall 2016 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
