Announced in July 2014 as a “AAA hero-shooter experience,” Battleborn is a first-person shooter with MOBA elements brought to us by the team behind Borderlands 2 . Gearbox Software has maintained, however, that each title has its own identity, with Battleborn being an “ambitious fusion of genres” set in a science fantasy universe.
Battleborn releases around the same time when Blizzard’s Overwatch enters open beta. With both games being first-person shooters infused with MOBA elements, it remains to be seen which title eventually comes out on top. However, with all the right ingredients, Battleborn could be one of the PlayStation 4 co-op games you’ll have a blast playing with your friends.
While you await reviews, we’ve compiled all the important information we have so far in a single gallery for you, so flip through for everything you need to know about Battleborn .
Battleborn releases on May 3 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
