The Division‘s Dark Zone may harbor problems of its own, but it isn’t the only area concerning developer Ubisoft Massive.
During a Twitch stream over the weekend (via VG247), Community Developer Hamish Bode was quizzed about the possibility of Ubisoft “reinvigorating” the shooter’s open world PvE area. In response, Bode confirmed there were plans in place to change things up, but stopped short of disclosing any firm details. The Division‘s first expansion, Underground, may herald those changes in question.
Elsewhere, the latest State of the Game post reveals the publisher’s decision to adopt a “stronger stance” when it comes to cheaters and those agents exploiting in-game loopholes.
“In the future we want to give you clearer and more concrete visibility. Should new bugs be discovered, we will quickly take a firm stance and confirm if these are considered as exploits. All known exploits will be clearly listed in a public forum thread and across our various communication platforms. We want all players to be informed.
“When cheaters are caught, we will now apply a suspension of 14 days on first offense, instead of the initial 3 days suspension. Second offense will always be a guaranteed permanent ban”
Look for The Division‘s Underground DLC to drop in June.
