Dr. Neo Cortex Voice Actor Says He Wasn’t Teasing a Crash Bandicoot Revival

Recently, a NeoGAF user brought to light a Facebook post by Lex Lang, who voiced Crash Bandicoot‘s antagonist Dr. Neo Cortex, in which he claimed that he has been asked to resurrect three different characters that he voiced from games “gone by” including the role of a “doctor, a devil and a droid/AI.” Lang’s history suggests that the only role of a doctor he played in a game “gone by” was that of Neo Cortex in Crash Bandicoot, leading many to believe that he was teasing a revival. However, when his comments caught attention, he denied that he was dropping any hints.

In a separate post, Lang said that he’s not aware of any new Crash Bandicoot game although he would love love that. He went on to say that if Ratchet & Clank can be turned into a movie then he doesn’t see why Crash Bandicoot couldn’t get the same treatment.

The series continues to be a source of ongoing speculations and rumors but there’s no word from Sony on a revival.
