Taking point at the helm in place of Treyarch, developer Infinity Ward has confirmed Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will feature a similar movement system to that found in Black Ops 3.
From boosting to sliding, wall-running to dashing, some of Infinite Warfare‘s futuristic traversal was teased in the shooter’s reveal trailer, with a handful of soldiers donning jetpacks as they rose up against the Settlement Defense Force.
Referred to as the “chain-based fluid movement system,” IW noted that Black Ops 3 fans should feel right at home when picking up Infinite Warfare.
@CODINT3L If you’ve played #BlackOps3 before, our take on the chain-based fluid movement system will feel natural to you. #InfiniteWarfare
