Homefront: The Revolution Expansions Will Add New Districts & “Several Hours” of Single-Player Content

With Homefront: The Revolution now available in North America on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and Europe getting it on Friday, Deep Silver has released the official launch trailer.

Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media, said:

With Homefront: The Revolution, we deliver a reboot of the Homefront IP, a brand new open world shooter game with asymmetric, guerilla warfare. Not only that, we also deliver with it a deep story about defending our values, defending our country, defending our society, and that is as current as it can be.

In Homefront: The Revolution, there’s a 30+ hour single-player campaign and an online co-op Resistance Mode that supports up to four players on a team. As previously revealed, post-launch DLC will expand on both of these, with the Expansion Pass adding three campaign expansions and Resistance Mode bonuses.

Here’s what’s included in the $25 Expansion Pass:

The Voice of Freedom and Aftermath (2016)

  • Both add new districts and several hours of original single-player content.

Beyond the Walls (2017)

  • A much larger expansion, with more details coming in the future.

Resistance Mode Perks

  • ‘Supply Line’ entitles players to a FREE Resistance Crate each week, just for logging into Resistance Mode
  • ‘The Right Kind of School’ unlocks three new starting backgrounds for your Resistance Mode character: ‘ATF Agent’, ‘G-Man’ and ‘U.S. Marshall’

Prices for the expansions on their own weren’t revealed.

All post-launch Resistance Mode missions will be free, and the first is expected to arrive in June. “Dambuster Studios are committed to delivering high quality added content updates for the first year at no extra cost,” Deep Silver adds.

If you’re picking up Homefront: The Revolution, don’t forget that there’s a 3.2GB day one update.
