2K Sports has unveiled StreamCast, an all-new feature headed to NBA 2K16 in time for the imminent Road to the Finals tournament.
Due to go live on May 21 across PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, StreamCast allows players to spectate live games from their consoles, along with watching replays of other matches once they’ve finished. There is a caveat, however; Game Informer reports that the mode only supports games played during this weekend’s Road to the Finals event.
First launched back in February, Road to the Finals is a single elimination tournament where 16 teams compete for the grand $250,000 prize.
NBA 2K16’s eSports’ “Road To The Finals” tournament will be available for all to watch via our BRAND NEW FEATURE: 2K StreamCast. Join the rest of the world, LIVE, on NBA 2K during the May 21 tournament to determine the two teams who will face off for $250K in June!
Road to the Finals commences on May 21 between 10am PST and 6pm PST, with the championship pegged for June 1.
