Homefront: The Revolution Developer Is Working on Updates to Address Frame-Rate Issues

Now that Homefront: The Revolution is available worldwide (our review), developer Deep Silver Dambuster Studios has responded to the performance issues experienced by gamers, saying they’re working on fixing them:

Homefront: The Revolution is now finally available worldwide, and we hope you are enjoying your first steps in Occupied Philadelphia as a member of the Resistance. It has been a long road for us, and we’re only getting started.

But we’re also aware that performance – particularly frame rate – is not currently where we want it to be, and we are working on additional patches to help address these issues and more. Patch notes per platform will be available on the community forums and on Steam when they go live.

To go along with the worldwide availability, Dambuster has unlocked the first free Resistance Mode content, which includes the following: two bonus Hail Mary boosters added to your Consumables inventory (use them to instant revive) and all eight individual pieces of the two new Punk and Anarchist outfits, as well as the Punk and Anarchist full body clothing (head to the Gear and Clothing menu to find them).

The first three free Resistance Mode Missions are expected by the end of June, with two paid single-player expansions planned for later this year.
