Psyonix is adding a new arena to the Rocket Labs playlist in June. Called “Pillars,” it’ll be available for both online and offline Exhibition Play and encourages players to use multiple walls to their advantage. The arena is pictured above. Psyonix further wrote:
These pillars separate the arena into three lanes, with the goals on each side lining up the center lane. Banking shots off the tall columns in the middle of the arena makes for some incredible moments and driving up the walls and flying down on the competition feels just right.
The developer will be releasing more details about Rocket League‘s June update over the coming weeks. In the meantime, update 1.18 is out, which fixes a number of bugs and introduces a leaderboard filtering option. The update is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the details of which you can find here.
