Yomawari: Night Alone Gets an October 25 Release Date on PS Vita & PC

Isometric survival horror game Yomawari: Night Alone is coming to PlayStation Vita and PC on October 25 in North America and October 28 in Europe, NIS America has announced.

Priced at $39.99 USD for the standard edition and $59.99 USD for the limited edition, Yomawari: Night Alone includes htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary (our review) on the same cart in North America. Yomawari: Night Alone will also include htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary in Europe, but it remains to be seen if there will be a physical release.

Here’s what you get in the limited edition:

  • Yomawari: Night Alone/htoL# NiQ: The Firefly Diary for PS Vita
  • Full-color, softcover art books for Yomawari: Night Alone and htoL# NiQ: The Firefly Diary
  • Original soundtrack with jewel case (tracks from htoL# NiQ: The Firefly Diary and Yomawari: Night Alone)
  • Collector’s box (Includes all the above)
  • Heat changing tumbler (NISA Online Store Exclusive)

Yomawari: Night Alone follows a little girl who runs home after losing her dog, only to find that her sister is missing as well. Using just a flashlight and backpack, you have to solve the mystery.

NIS America adds:

Yomawari: Night Alone features a unique blend of survival horror with stealth action gameplay. Along the way, you will find all sorts of objects from keys to slippers to cat biscuits, some of them vital to solving the mystery of the town and its eerie inhabitants at night, while others useful to distract evil spirits when they attack. As the story unfolds, more answers will lead to more questions, and the open-world environment of Yomawari: Night Alone allows for maximum freedom to wander anywhere at almost any time. But remember that everything has eyes and ears…

With every step around the corner or into a dark alleyway, you will not only need reflexes to outrun bloodthirsty monsters and spirits, but also wits as you outsmart the ones that strike faster than you can blink; letting down your guard for even one moment may spell instant death. Only the silence of the night, the unsettling chirping of crickets, and your own lonely footsteps will accompany you as danger lurks around every corner, waiting to strike without warning.

Will you be getting Yomawari: Night Alone?
