Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 4 mods for PlayStation 4 are “still on track” for June, as previously announced. Additionally, the developer held a livestream to showcase some of the mods that will be available this week to Xbox One users, during which we got some bits and bobs of information that’s likely to apply to the PS4 as well.
At present there’s a 2GB size limit for the mods Xbox One players can download. It’s unclear if this will change. Once the mods are installed, players will not be able to unlock any achievements due to “first-party considerations.” We expect this to apply to the PS4 as well unless otherwise stated. We’ve also learned that mods that utilize Fallout 4‘s DLC will only work if you own that specific DLC.
In case you’re curious about what mods are available at the moment, head over here and flip through. For more specific information about PS4 mods, stay tuned.
