In a new infographic from Mojang, they reveal that Minecraft has sold more than 106 million copies across all platforms since launch in 2011.
Other interesting stats show that Minecraft has over 40 million active users each month, an average of 53,000 copies have been sold per day since the start of 2016, four copies have been sold in Antarctica, and Minecraft’s total sales (106,859,714) would place it behind Russia, Japan, and Mexico as the 12th most populated nation in the world if it were one.
Here’s the percentage breakdown of sales in the various regions (“Console” likely includes PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Wii U):
