The Dwarves Gets a New Gameplay Trailer, Fall 2016 Release Window

Revealed last year, tactical RPG The Dwarves is releasing in fall 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, developer King Art Games announced today. According to their online store, it’s aiming for September 15.

The Dwarves was previously planned for summer 2016, but King Art wanted to release simultaneously across all platforms, among other things:

The final release of The Dwarves will shift slightly from Summer to Fall 2016. Reason number one is to be able to implement all community feedback, whilst reason number two is so that there is a simultaneous release on PC and consoles, digitally and in traditional retail worldwide.

Development on The Dwarves is mostly complete: all characters are ready, the story is done, the voice-acting is finished, the orchestra and the chorus have performed their art and Girdlegard, the game’s world, shines in all its splendor.

If you backed The Dwarves on Kickstarter, the PC beta is now available for players to give their feedback. Looking back at the alpha, King Art added an optional pause-function during the real-time combat thanks to suggestions from the community.
