This is really hard to write up, since there is very little that isn't announced or leaked before E3. I guess I am just expecting to be even more excited about games like Yakuza 0, Persona 5, Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online , and more.

Predictions? Hmm, I have feeling that we're going to see something big from Rockstar. Other than that, I'm going to say that I think some of the rumors we're hearing are true. I feel like Bethesda is going to reveal a series of games and like last year, they'll pull a Fallout 4 and have release dates that are within the next six months. As for Sony, I'm expecting a God of War announcement. I have been for a while now.

Years like this are the best. Everyone is convinced that they know all the surprises which makes the actual surprises that much bigger. I predict that we'll see The Order: 1887, The Last of Us 2 and Dead Don't Ride at Sony's conference. There will also be another major PlayStation VR killer app revealed. My biggest fear is how they announce PS4K. If it is at all necessary for PSVR, there will be a ton of disgruntled fans who pre-ordered already myself included. Hopefully, they understand fan skepticism and announce it gracefully.

It will be revealed that Persona 5 actually came out in 2015.

Dead Don't Ride , The Last Guardian and Detroit: Become Human all get 2016 release dates (gotta' fill that Horizon void), while one of Sony's first-party games is revealed to be compatible with PlayStation VR in some respects. The next God of War , perhaps?
Also, Hideo Kojima on stage to showcase Ludens' foot or something.

There will be a major focus on games that release before next year's E3. Studios are aware that gamers don't like super early teases, though we are sure to get a few of those as well. I don't think Sony will spend much time talking about a new console. They will try to hype up VR prior to its release.
After a bunch of announcements coming out this week to beat E3 leaks and rumors though, what's left for next week? Hopefully some huge hidden megatons.

I think we'll see a lot more details on Mass Effect: Andromeda during EA's conference. I've also got my fingers crossed for a The Last of Us 2 teaser, before a big reveal at PlayStation Experience. Maybe it's too early for that, but my fingers are still crossed.
I'm curious as to how both Sony and Microsoft will handle the rumors about new consoles.

I'm personally expecting something -- anything -- God of War related since it's been too long for Sony Santa Monica to not talk about a big game. Other than that, I expect a few more surprises from Sony. Maybe a stage demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake , that Dead Don't Ride thing, and maybe a few more.
Will PS4K be there? I'm not entirely sure, but the bigger question is: will people like it? And I have no doubt Vita will once again be thrown aside and will only be mentioned in passing or via a sizzle reel.
Another prediction? Detroit release date will be revealed and it will be Q1-Q2 of 2017.
That all said, I'm super excited for the stuff that's already known. I'm super hyped to see gameplay of Mass Effect: Andromeda , Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2.
