Even with some tough new competition, Overwatch managed to stay in first place for a third straight week, “just beating off the challenge” from newcomer Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, which debuted in 2nd.
As Gfk Chart-Track notes, the original Mirror’s Edge sold through only 60% of its lifetime sales after 12 weeks, making it a sleeper hit (most major titles are 80%+ after 12 weeks). They didn’t give any data on the launch of Catalyst.
In terms of other new releases, Kirby: Planet Robobot placed in 15th, while Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter just managed to open in the top 40, placing in 37th.
