Housemarque announced today that the big Alienation update featuring local co-op for up to four players will be released on July 5.
The free July 5 update will also include more Hero Levels, new Trophies, adjusted Legendary weapons and loot drop rates, two new difficulty levels (Expert and Master), a richer Arkship experience (new rooms, harder enemies, better loot), and the introduction of Leagues, which consist of five ranks with each cycle lasting for one week, allowing you to unlock additional bullet colors as your climb the ladders of glory.
As for paid content, Housemarque revealed that the $9.99/€7.99 Season Pass and $5.99/€2.99 Survivor’s Pack will both be available to purchase on July 5.
Here’s what’s included in the Survivor’s Pack:
The Survivor’s Pack includes the Vortex Grenade, a new piece of gear that sucks all enemies in its path into a kind of black hole, dealing constant damage to all enemies trapped within. In addition to this, all Primary weapons are available to all hero classes, and you will also have three exclusive bullet colors at your disposal to make the game more colorful than ever and allow you to blast the Xenos with a bit more personal style.
The Season Pass includes access to the Survivor’s Pack, as well as the upcoming Conqueror’s Pack, Veteran Heroes Pack, the original soundtrack, and a dynamic Theme. By getting the Season Pass, you’ll see a ‘deep discount’ over buying everything separately.
