Game Critics Awards Best of E3 2016 Nominations Led by Battlefield 1, Horizon Zero Dawn

With the winners being announced on July 5, the Game Critics Awards Best of E3 2016 nominations have been revealed.

Battlefield 1 leads the way with five nominations, including Best of Show. It’s followed by Dishonored 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn, each with four nominations, including Best of Show as well. Absolver, Titanfall 2, Sea of Thieves, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are all tied with three nominations.

EA leads the way for publishers with 10 nominations, followed by Sony Interactive Entertainment with nine and Microsoft Studios with seven. By platform, PC saw 50 nominations, followed by 47 on PlayStation 4 and 43 on Xbox One.

Since Death Stranding, Destiny: Rise of Iron, God of War, Mass Effect Andromeda, Prey, and Spider-Man PS4 weren’t playable for judges at E3, they were disqualified from main award consideration.

Over 40 different publications from around the world will decide the winners.

The Best of Show last year was Fallout 4.
