In a press release, EA has announced that this year’s FIFA cover athlete will be determined by the very footie fans who buy the game; how about that?
However, you can’t just vote any soccer player to be the FIFA 17 cover athlete, but choose from the four ambassadors who are:
- James Rodriguez (Real Madrid)
- Anthony Martial (Manchester United)
- Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
- Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund)
Fans can cast their vote right here, which begins today, and runs until July 19, 11:59 p.m. PT. Fans will be able to vote once per day for their fave player and even earn extra votes by using the “auto-share” feature with the hashtag “#FIFA17CoverReward”. Of course, fans can also show some love to their fave footie athletes by tweeting the game’s title along with the stars’ names, so don’t be surprised to see tweets like #FIFA17Hazard, #FIFA17James, #FIFA17Martial or #FIFA17Reus making the rounds.
Who are you voting for? Better get to it as no doubt, some fans will start a campaign to get their fave star on the front cover.
FIFA 17 will be out this September 29.
