Ark: Survival of the Fittest Put on Hold, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Delayed

Two PlayStation 4 games expected to release this week, Ark: Survival of the Fittest and Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy, won’t be available as previously planned.

For Ark: Survival of the Fittest, it was announced back in April for a July 19 beta release on PS4 by developer Studio Wildcard. However, in an undated update on the PlayStation Blog, they revealed that it’s been put on hold to focus on Ark: Survival Evolved:

Hey ARK fans, Studio Wildcard is putting the PS4 version of ARK: Survival of the Fittest on hold in order to focus on preparing ARK: Survival Evolved for PS4 release. While this means ARK: Survival of the Fittest won’t be releasing on PS4 in July 2016, we’re working towards an earlier release of ARK: Survival Evolved.

Ark: Survival Evolved’s full release is currently scheduled for holiday 2016, and it will have PlayStation VR support on PS4.

For Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy, it was expected to release today, July 18, as the latest PS2 game on PS4. Over the weekend though, Quantic Dream said it was delayed, but a new date should be given soon:

Apologies,FAHRENHEIT – INDIGO PROPHECY won’t release on 7/18. We shall confirm the release date in the next days. Should be soon. Stay safe.

You can see this week’s new releases over here.
