Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Gets Compared to the Original in New Video

Last week, Activision released a playthrough of the Crew Expendable mission from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Now, IGN has taken footage from that playthrough and compared it to the original Modern Warfare in the above video.

Throughout the video, you’ll see footage running side-by-side, with still images of some of the action getting frozen so you can see the improvements in detail.

Here’s what Activision says about the improvements in Modern Warfare Remastered:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered boasts vibrant current generation visuals, with fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound, and much more.

Activision will be showing off Modern Warfare Remastered’s multiplayer at Call of Duty XP in early September.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered releases on November 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and is only available in special editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
