Following some recent reports saying the PlayStation 4 Neo would be announced at an event next month, Sony has confirmed that they’ll be holding a “PlayStation Meeting” on Wednesday, September 7.
As the invite reveals, the meeting will take place on September 7 at 12pm PT/3pm ET at The PlayStation Theater in New York.
The invitation adds, “We hope to see you there, and we can’t wait to share details with you about the PlayStation business.”
Sony also confirmed to Polygon that the meeting will be livestreamed, and they’ll provide more information closer to the event.
If earlier reports are true, expect the PlayStation Meeting to be a technical showcase focused on the PS4 Neo. The system itself should then launch at some point later this year.
