Gran Turismo 6 Crosses Five Million Sold, Franchise Is at 76.8 Million Sold

Previously sitting at 4.96 million as of March 2016, Gran Turismo 6 has now sold 5.01 million copies as of June 2016, Polyphony Digital revealed in an update on their website.

With the extra 50,000 sales (20k in North America, 30k in Europe) of Gran Turismo 6 in those three months, as well as other back catalogue sales, the Gran Turismo franchise is now sitting at 76.79 million copies sold worldwide.

Here’s the list of the best-selling games in the Gran Turismo series:

1. Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec – 14.89 million
2. Gran Turismo 5 – 11.95 million
3. Gran Turismo 4 – 11.76 million
4. Gran Turismo – 10.85 million
5. Gran Turismo 2 – 9.37 million
6. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue – 5.35 million
7. Gran Turismo 6 – 5.01 million
8. Gran Turismo PSP – 4.65 million
9. Gran Turismo Concept Series – 1.56 million
10. Gran Turismo 4 Prologue – 1.4 million

The next game in the series, Gran Turismo Sport, launches on November 15 in North America and November 16 in Europe for PlayStation 4.
