With EA confirming yesterday that Titanfall 2 will have its open beta test this coming weekend and next, some might be wondering just how big the file size gamers will have to download before they can actually start, y’know, fragging.
Fortunately, thanks to early access keys by EA, we now know that exact number. Currently, the Titanfall 2 multiplayer test client sits at 12.5GB. Mind, we don’t know if there’s an update once the download is actually finished, but for now, allocate at least 13GB if you want to take part in the open test.
The first Titanfall 2 multiplayer test will start this August 19 until the 21st, while the next one will run from August 26-28. Currently, the test isn’t open to PC since EA doesn’t want players to mine the data and spoil any of the single-player details that are presumably in the game files. You can read about the game modes and maps that will be available in the test here.
