With some initial details appearing yesterday, Bandai Namco and From Software have officially announced that the Ashes of Ariandel DLC for Dark Souls 3 will be available on October 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The first of two planned expansions, Ashes of Ariandel is priced at $14.99 on its own, and is included in the $24.99 Season Pass.
With Ashes of Ariandel, you’ll enter the frozen land of Ariandel to defeat the evil within and find out what caused it to become defiled. Along with new enemies, challenges, and lore to expand the Dark Souls 3 storyline, the expansion also includes new weapons, armor sets, and magic, as well as new features for the competitive multiplayer mode.

The second expansion pack for Dark Souls 3 is expected to release in early 2017.
