During the Call of Duty XP Briefing today, Activision announced that Jackal Assault, a Call of Duty PlayStation VR “experience,” will be coming to PlayStation 4 later this year. Free to owners of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Jackal Assault “immerses fans in the cockpit and puts them in control of a Jackal,” the personal fighter jet in Infinite Warfare. Attendees at Call of Duty XP will be able to try it out this weekend.
Activision’s Rob Kostich said, “The Jackal Assault is a cool, fun extension that’s inspired by Infinite Warfare. We’re excited to not only share this experience with Call of Duty XP fans this weekend, but give it for free to all Infinite Warfare PS4 players later this year.”
Infinite Warfare releases on November 4 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Multiplayer Beta begins on October 14 on PS4.
