While PlayStation fans might have jumped for joy at PS4 Pro’s price point and release date, sad to say, we’re the bearer of bad news. It seems PS4 Pro won’t support 4K Blu-ray discs, but only via streaming and apps.
This was announced by both the Stuff TV on its official Twitter, and by engadget Senior Editor Richard Lawer.
Confirmed: No Ultra HD Blu-ray in the PS4 Pro. Only 4K video via streaming/apps. https://t.co/yF8L0zE2LM

Let’s hope that this is something Sony can remedy via a future firmware update for the PS4 Pro.
Does this affect your decision in getting a PS4 Pro or not? Or are you more concerned on how the games will be “upgraded” as opposed to playing 4K Blu-ray discs?
