Ubisoft announced today that South Park: The Fractured But Whole won’t release in December 2016 as planned, and will instead be available in Q1 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
“The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal,” they said regarding the delay.
This news comes one day after South Park season 20 premiered. If you missed the season premiere, Member Berries, it can be streamed for free over here.
As you may recall, South Park: The Stick of Truth also missed its planned December release date back in 2013, before eventually launching in March 2014.
What do you think of the delay? Did you watch the season premiere last night?
