When EA and DICE announced last week that the Battlefield 1 Open Beta drew a record 13.2 million players, they said the Light Tank would be addressed ahead of the game’s launch on October 21. In a new post from Lead World Designer Daniel Berlin, he discussed some of the weapon and vehicle balances you can expect:
We’re also looking into balancing other elements, including the weapons and vehicles. The Light Tank, which is a bit too effective in the Open Beta, will definitely receive some work, and we agree that Horses can take a few too many rounds at the moment. We’ve also learned through the Beta that you guys need more tools to deal with vehicles earlier, which we’ll definitely look into (including a Gadget for the Support class which should help neutralize powerful vehicles).
As for game modes, DICE listened to the community’s feedback about Conquest and will be making changes to the ticket system. “The next time you play the game, capturing the objectives AND getting kills will both contribute towards the final score of a Conquest match,” Berlin said.
Rush mode’s also getting some tweaks based on player feedback, with DICE “aiming to make it the best Rush experience to date.”

What are some changes you’d like to see DICE make before Battlefield 1 launches next month?
