After hitting a new low, the PlayStation 4 bounced back last week, moving over 96,400 units thanks to some big new releases and the launch of the slimmer model. The PS4 was easily able to defeat the 2DS, which saw sales of 18,800.
Looking at software, a pair of PlayStation titles dominated the chart, with Persona 5 debuting in 1st and 2nd on PS4 and PS3, respectively, moving a combined 338,000 copies. Next up, Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 opened in 3rd and 4th on PS4 and PS3, combining to sell over 100,000 copies. It wasn’t a big week for BioShock: The Collection though, which placed in 10th with sales of 5,500.
