In a press release, 2K has revealed the official XCOM 2 launch trailer which reminds everyone how bad aliens are bad.
Developed by Firaxis Games, XCOM 2 is the sequel to the 2012 strategy-action game and is out now on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $59.99. You can check out the official game description below.
In XCOM 2, humanity had lost the war against the alien threat that established a new world order on Earth. XCOM, formerly a secret paramilitary organization, is largely forgotten and must strike back from the shadows to reclaim Earth from the aliens’ rule and free mankind from their evil plans.
OK, humans fighting aliens that want to overtake the world isn’t anything new, but if it’s anything like the first one, the gameplay should be tight, with the action compelling enough that we won’t care if the story isn’t anything new.
