With PlayStation VR set to come out next week, and our coverage of the device already well underway, we thought it would be a good idea to ask our readers whether they’re going to buy a PSVR at launch.
While some of the PlayStation LifeStyle staff members have already pre-ordered, not everyone is on a buying mood when it comes to Sony’s latest gaming peripheral. Check out the gallery below to see which staff member is getting one, and those who’d rather wait.
Now that you know what the PSLS crew thinks, the big question here is, are YOU getting PlayStation VR at launch? No? Waiting to see what happens first? Or heck, can’t get one due to the demand? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
Don’t forget to check back within the month for our PSVR hardware and game reviews.

It has neat stuff, but it needs more. For me, it needs more games and a lower price. Then I might consider it, but for now, it's not really on my purchase radar.

It looks like fun and I'm intrigued by it but I'm going to wait it out. My region hasn't had any demos and I do suffer from motion sickness at times so I'll wait for reviews or for friends who are buying them to let me try before I take the plunge. That said, money is also a consideration. I'm still undecided about the PS4 Pro and can only buy so much within the year.

I'm a believer in VR after experiencing it myself, but after that experience, I know I won't be getting it either. Unfortunately, VR triggers my vertigo. This is one tech craze this gadget junkie will have to sit out.

I am excited for the tech but like Heath, I want more games and a cheaper price point before I jump on board.

Count me in. I've had a unit pre-ordered since March and can hardly contain my excitement and, having tried both Oculus and the Vive at events, I'm really intrigued to see how PSVR stacks up. Yes, the launch library may not be one to steal the headlines, but it's fairly diverse, and the inclusion of the demo disc is a neat addition that harkens back to Sony's previous hardware launches.

I'm completely on board, had one on order since they opened the ability to order them. The sense of immersion you get from VR is another level of depth to video games, and I believe that supporting tech early is the best way to get them to iterate and improve on it. The price point is the best for VR currently, as opposed to the much more cost prohibitive PC versions. After what seems like waiting forever, I can't believe that VR will be at my house in less than two weeks!

I was skeptical of PlayStation VR until I had the chance to play it for myself. It only took one demo at PSX 2015 to not only make me a believer, but an evangelist.
Since then I have been beating the PSVR drum loud and proud. I can't wait until my PSVR bundle arrives (hopefully) on October 13.

Definitely in the "in" camp! Pre-order is good to go and guaranteed a unit at launch! Super excited to try out the games based on what I've played so far.
I could very well be wrong (and I hope I'm not) but PSVR is the real deal. It's so immersive (yeah, cliche, I know), and could very well be a game-changer. It's hard to explain it, but once you try it out and see how you're essentially in the game, it's some exciting stuff!
Here's to hoping Sony and third-party publishers support it so we can have a flood of awesome games beyond the initial batch.

Hell yeah, I'm looking forward to PlayStation VR! I tried it out recently and had all of my concerns washed away. It plays well, and is easily the most comfortable VR headset available.
Here's hoping the majority of the launch titles are great, as I have high hopes for this platform!
