At the Barcelona Games World Event, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the return of Spanish fighter Miguel Caballero Rojo in Tekken 7. His addition brings the game’s roster to 33 fighters so far. According to the developer, “The rebellious Spaniard has returned for Tekken 7 to continue his quest for revenge, looking for those responsible for his beloved sister’s death.”
You can check out the announcement trailer above, in which you can see Rojo beating down Jin Kazama. The fighter first appeared in Tekken 6 and then later joined the roster in several spin-offs.
Tekken 7 is scheduled for an early 2017 worldwide release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is already out in Japanese arcades.
At the Tokyo Game Show this year, game designer Michael Murray said that Bandai Namco hasn’t decided on PS4 Pro support yet. However, Tekken 7 will be getting the PSVR treatment at some point, the details for which will be shared in due course.
