Capcom announced today that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One re-releases of Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6 have shipped more than 1.5 million units (collectively) worldwide since they began launching earlier this year.
One million of those copies were shipped in North America, where all three titles are available both digitally and physically for $19.99 USD each. If you live in Europe, physical releases of all three titles are coming in December 2016. They’ll likely cost €19.99/£15.99 each.
As Capcom adds, Resident Evil is their highest-selling series, sitting at more than 69 million units sold to date.
The next game in the series, Resident Evil 7 biohazard, launches on January 24, 2017 for PS4 (with PSVR support), Xbox One, and PC.
As a reminder, the Resident Evil remaster for PS4 is available this month as a PlayStation Plus free game in North America and Europe.
