It’s safe to say now that Blizzard’s first foray the crowded multiplayer first-person shooter genre has been a resounding success with Overwatch. Well, it seems, it’s a bigger success than anyone could have ever imagined.
Blizzard has announced today that Overwatch has now passed over 20 million registered players! Yes, that number is correct. Also, it’s 20 million registered players, not 20 million copies sold, or 20 million unique players. Even so, that number is very impressive.
