While we’ve already seen a little bit of Dark Souls III‘s upcoming Ashes of Ariandel DLC, a trailer (above) released today focuses on highlighting its player versus player content. Bandai Namco also offered up some details in the following press release:
DARK SOULS III: Ashes of Ariandel introduces a brand new way to experience the exciting player versus player online multiplayer mode with Undead Matches. Battle against friends or against the wide world of DARK SOULS players in one-on-one duels as well as free-for-all and team-based modes for up to six players.
And in case you missed it, here’s what the expansion is all about:
Players are tasked to enter the land of Ariandel and defeat the evil within to uncover the mystery of what has caused the land to become defiled. In addition to adding a new environment to DARK SOULS III, the Ashes of Ariandel expansion will also include new weapons, armor sets, and magic for players to discover and experiment with.
Ashes of Ariandel releases on October 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
