Skyrim Special Edition Gameplay Videos Show How the Remaster Looks on PS4 & Xbox One

With one week to go until Skyrim Special Edition launches on October 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, numerous gameplay videos have been popping up, giving you a closer, more detailed look at the remaster. The first video, a new trailer from Bethesda, offers a quick look at the game world and some brief moments of gameplay.

In the other videos, you’ll get to see the nine-minute Skyrim PS4 gameplay walkthrough from Live with YouTube Gaming last night, 16 minutes of PS4 footage from FudgeMuppet showing all the cities, 13 minutes of Xbox One footage from Camelworks, the opening of the game from Grohlvana, a look at the map from end to end from PlayStation Access, and another video from PlayStation Access filled with gameplay and eight things you must do:

Skyrim Special Edition needs 20GB of space on PS4 in North America and 33GB of space on PS4 in Europe, with 1GB reserved for mods. If you’re buying the digital version, pre-loading begins on October 26, ahead of the game unlocking at midnight on October 28.

In other Skyrim news, despite appearing in the Nintendo Switch announcement trailer, Bethesda isn’t actually saying if it’s coming to the new platform. “While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of the Switch. We look forward to revealing specific games and details in the future,” a spokesperson told Games Industry.
