Raven Software’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered PlayStation 4 Pro version aims to deliver “richer textures and dynamic 4K graphics on top of the series’ signature fluid framerate,” according to a new post on the PlayStation Blog. Sony’s Sid Shuman, who recently visited the studio to discuss the remaster’s development, said that Raven has gone out of its way to “retain the feel, pacing, and timing,” of the 2007 title. You can check out some highlights from the conversation in the video above, where the developers discuss staying true to the original.
Other key takeaways that Shuman lists are as follows:
- Raven’s number-one priority: keeping the gameplay fully authentic to the original game
- Modern Warfare Remastered’s multiplayer mode will ship with 10 multiplayer maps, followed by another six in December. Interestingly, the game will include Kill Confirmed, which was not offered in the original release
If you aren’t already playing Modern Warfare Remastered, you can get your hands on the game alongside Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on November 4.
