The Last of Us Remastered Update 1.07 Adds PS4 Pro & HDR Support

More than a week ahead of the release of the PlayStation 4 Pro, Naughty Dog has brought out The Last of Us Remastered update 1.07, which adds both PS4 Pro and HDR support (above image has HDR on, below doesn’t). According to reports, it’s a 350MB download.

As the patch notes reveal, you’ll also find improved stereo audio with today’s update:

  • Added support for PlayStation 4 Pro
  • Added support for High Dynamic Range display
  • Improved quality of stereo audio

Back in September, Digital Foundry learned from Naughty Dog that The Last of Us Remastered will run at native 4K on PS4 Pro. There will also be an improved 60 frames-per-second mode.

We don’t know exactly when it’s arriving, but Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be receiving a PS4 Pro patch in the near future. In the latest Uncharted 4 live update (1.13.040) on October 28, Naughty Dog posted this warning: “All cinema files will be deleted when moving from patch 1.13 to the next patch.”

We have our PS4 Pro, so expect to hear more about it from us as we approach launch on November 10.
