Fallout 4 mods are coming to PlayStation 4 later this week, Bethesda has announced. Included as part of Update 1.8, the Fallout 4 PS4 mods support will allow you to modify and create your own content, but you won’t be able to upload external assets. However, “you will be able to use any assets that come with the game, as most mods do,” Bethesda adds.
The Creation Kit added PS4 mod support last week, and creators have already uploaded over 140 mods, including The Kelly Household, Separate Coats, and Simple Camping. You can view all of the available PS4 mods over here, with a thread on mod requests over here. By creating a Bethesda.net account, you’ll be able to browse and try mods within Fallout 4 once the update is live.
In addition to mod support, Update 1.8 comes with fixes for a crash that occurred when exiting to the Main Menu, doubles the amount of browse-able tiles in the Mods menu, fixes some crash issues when accessing mods, and more.
Update 1.8 could also include the following PS4 Pro support: 4K, enhanced lighting and graphics features.
Will you be trying out some Fallout 4 mods this week?
