Mass Effect Andromeda Will Have Its Own Versions of Cultural Hubs

BioWare Creative Director, Mac Walters, has been busy answering questions about Mass Effect Andromeda on Twitter. In response to a fan who asked if the upcoming title will feature hubs and cities like the Omega and Citadel, Walters revealed that Andromeda will feature “versions of those types of cultural hubs.”

Elsewhere in Q&As, Walters confirmed that Kett won’t be the only new race we’ll see in the game. He also said that every species in Andromeda will have “complete gender representation.” “That was a choice we made early on… every species in Andromeda that has both genders will be represented by both in the game,” he further explained.

Speaking about the Ryder family story arc, Walters said that it’s “unique” and “familiar” at the same time.

Mass Effect Andromeda releases in 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For more on the game, check out our previous coverage.
