If you live in the UK and have £66,600 ($83,000 USD), you can buy The Scalding Gallow Collector’s Edition for Darksiders Warmastered Edition through Green Man Gaming, which includes a “Darksiders-branded bespoke horse stable, ideal for housing your own apocalyptic steed like Ruin, the phantom horse ridden by the game’s star War.” As you might expect, there’s only one The Scalding Gallow edition available.
In addition to the horse stable, The Scalding Gallow includes a copy of Darksiders Warmastered Edition on all platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC) as well as the systems on which to play the game (PS4 Pro, Xbox One S, Wii U, Alienware Area-51 top-of-the-line gaming PC rig).
The horse stable is a mobile unit measuring 10.8 x 3.6m, includes a tack room with floor, a 3m x 3.6m haybarn and two 3m x 3.6 stables, and can house two horses. The outside features Darksiders artwork and logos.
THQ Nordic Franchise Director Nik Blower said, “A horse stable collector’s edition makes perfect sense for a game that stars War, the first Horseman of the Apocalypse. Whilst the bespoke unit is built to withstand the demands of most phantom horses, Darksiders Warmastered Edition The Scalding Gallow will also serve just as well as a home for less apocalyptic breeds.”
If you’re wondering about the Trophies in Darksiders Warmastered Edition, there’s 43 to earn (including a Platinum), with the three Gold Trophies asking you to beat the game on Easy, Normal, and Apocalyptic. The Silvers ask you to collect the maximum amount of lifestones, collect the maximum amount of wrath cores, and more.
On Twitter, THQ Nordic’s Reinhard Pollice said there isn’t a day one update for Darksiders, but they’ll look into the reported issue of the game crashing and corrupting save data after an early cutscene.
Darksiders Warmastered Edition releases this week for PS4 and Xbox One.
