Report: Uncharted 4 Story DLC to Follow Sam, Reveal at PSX

We haven’t heard much about the story DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End since the game launched earlier this year, but according to a new report, Naughty Dog will announce it at PlayStation Experience on December 3.

Hearing the news from a source at Sony, Jaffameister is reporting that the story DLC for Uncharted 4 will be revealed and playable at PSX, and the initial unveiling will include gameplay, cutscenes, and the name. Available as a standalone piece of content, Naughty Dog is reportedly targeting a Q1 2017 release.

As for what to expect from the story DLC, Jaffameister says it will revolve around the adventures of Sam and Sully. Telling a self-contained story, it will also include Nathan Drake in a small capacity, with both Nolan North and Troy Baker reprising their roles. Nathan’s daughter, meanwhile, won’t be in the DLC.

You should also expect Uncharted 4’s story DLC to be longer than The Last of Us: Left Behind.

The source of this report, Jaffameister, is a brand new site, but Laura Kate Dale went on Twitter to say, “For those asking about the Uncharted 4 DLC leak I have incoming, I’ve actually helped someone else put it together.” Dale later added, “I have a decent amount of faith in that Uncharted 4 Story DLC post, lines up with more info I’ve heard recently.”

However, insider shinobi602 went on NeoGAF to say, “This is incorrect from what I’m told. (That it’s Sam focused).”

We’ll learn if this report is true very soon, as PSX is less than two weeks away.
