Released back in May/June for PlayStation 4, top-down twin-stick shooter Neon Chrome is coming to PlayStation Vita on November 29 in North America and November 30 in Europe, 10tons has announced. Priced at $14.99 USD/£11.99, it will include cross-buy with the PS4 version.
10tons CEO Tero Alatalo said, “Neon Chrome is a great fan favourite shooter. It plays great on the Vita and I’m sure it’ll find a whole bunch of new fans on the handheld.”
Here’s the description:
Neon Chrome is a top-down twin stick shooter set in a futuristic science fiction setting. Each level is procedurally constructed, meaning levels throughout the game will be unique on every play session. The game features intense gunfight action, destructible environments, and light role playing elements such as permanent statistics upgrades, better weapons, cybernetic enhancements and different character classes.
Features:
- Shoot through walls, make rooms explode, and obliterate whole floors
- Explore procedural levels with endless variety
- Defeat the bosses in hand-crafted boss fights
- Unlock new abilities, enhancements and weapons
- Install enhancements and upgrade your weapons
The PS4 version was recently updated to support native 4K graphics at 60 frames-per-second on PS4 Pro.
If you want to try out Neon Chrome first, a free demo is available on the PlayStation Store (North America, Europe) for PS4, and it looks to be less than a 200MB download.
