With The Game Awards kicking off, host Geoff Keighley present video game legend Hideo Kojima with the “Industry Icon” award, with the developer showing a new Death Stranding trailer.
According to Geoff Keighley, the Death Stranding clip shown was running on the PS4 Pro and in real time. Interestingly enough, actor Mads Mikkelsen (Dr. Strange, Hannibal) was introduced as well. Another thing worth pointing out is Sony’s Mark Cerny can be seen credited as the game’s “Technical Producer” in the credits.
