For Honor’s Box Art Suggests It Requires a Persistent Internet Connection

Spotted by Twitter user Wario64, For Honor‘s box art that appears on Amazon suggests that it will require a persistent internet connection, which is contrary to what Ubisoft has said before. The upcoming action, hack and slash video game puts emphasis on its multiplayer mode but it does come with a single-player mode, which the developer previously said can be enjoyed as a “full experience” on its own.

“We built the campaign so that if you bought the game just for that, that you would be satisfied even if you never went online and played multiplayer,” said creative director Jason VandenBerghe back in September. “It’s intended to be a full experience.”

We’re going to await an official word from Ubisoft on this and will update our readers when we have more info.

For Honor releases on February 14, 2017, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
